Because God Sees He Knows

Acts 7:34, I have surely seen the affliction of my people…

Because God sees he knows; and because he knows he cares. God saw how wickedly His people were being treated in Egypt. But when the time came for His promise to Abraham to be fulfilled he raised up an evil king who didn’t know Joseph so that he can bring deliverance to his people.

As believers and spiritual seeds of Abraham we shares in that blessing through our relationship with Jesus Christ. Through Abraham ultimate seed we received the greatest blessing which is our salvation. But there are even more blessings as children of the King. When we have a financial need we can ask our Father for assistance; when we don’t feel so well in our bodies we can let him know and he restores us; when we are discouraged and confused he can give us the right perspective and insight about our situation. He possesses everything his children need.

My prayer this morning is that because God sees us He knows us as we are to be truly known. I praise God today because He is not a distant God who sits afar off, isolated from those he has made and love. Instead, He sees us and cares for us.

Today I encourage you to know for certain that God keeps his promises even when they seem to take a while; but while you wait keep praising Him!
